We’re happy to share some encouraging news regarding the Hagen Fire and the surrounding area!
Firefighting crews continue to make progress, successfully holding the fire within primary control lines. Containment has increased from 19% to 28%, and emergency officials have once again been able to reduce evacuation levels in portions of the surrounding area.
Several areas that were previously under a Level 3 — GO NOW evacuation order have now been reduced to Level 2 — BE SET. This reduction reflects the continued progress firefighters are making in strengthening containment and protecting nearby communities.

ABC Mountain Retreat is open for business and welcoming our guests!
We are grateful for the progress being made and thankful for the incredible firefighters, incident management teams, emergency personnel, and volunteers who have worked tirelessly to protect our mountain communities.
While the situation continues to improve, we recognize that wildfire conditions can change quickly. We will continue to monitor official fire and evacuation information closely and will keep our guests informed of any significant changes that could affect the retreat.
For now, we are open and ready to welcome you back to the mountain! ❤️

Current Fire Conditions
As of the August 25 update:
- 🔥 Hagen Fire containment: 28%, up from 19%
- 🟡 Multiple surrounding areas have been reduced from Level 3 — GO NOW to Level 2 — BE SET
- 🚒 Firefighting operations continue, with crews strengthening containment lines
- ⚠️ Some road and forest closures remain in effect
- 📍 Conditions can change quickly, so visitors should continue to monitor official updates
We are incredibly thankful for this progress and, above all, thankful that our community is moving in the right direction.
